GRIEVANCE MECHANISMValeura is committed to promoting a culture of transparency and accountability that upholds the rights of all stakeholders. Through the Reporting of Inappropriate Activity Policy https://www.valeuraenergy.com/sustainability/governance/reporting-of-inappropriate-activity-policy/, Valeura empowers stakeholders to report concerns related to accounting, auditing or fraudulent financial information with protection from discrimination, retaliation or harassment. This can be done through multiple channels, including direct communications to Corporate Secretary, anonymous letter to the General Counsel (governance@valeuraenergy.com), to the Chairman of the Audit Committee, or to the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Importantly, employees and contractors can report concerns about business ethics, human rights violations, discrimination or harassment through an internal grievance channel or legal@valeuraenergy.com.All complaints reported are promptly and thoroughly investigated with corrective actions in compliance with applicable laws taken for substantiated cases, which may include include disciplinary measures or termination for the employee involved. Information disclosed during investigations is kept confidential, except when required to conduct the inquiry.EVALUATION OF PERFORMANCEThe Company nurtures its employees to foster a culture of transparency, which is essential for protecting the organisation%u2019s integrity. In 2024, Valeura had zero identified cases of breaches to business ethics, corruption, non-compliance with laws and regulations, or anti-competition. As a company, Valeura refrains from participating in political activities, including lobbying or making political contributions. However, the Company respects employees%u2019 individual rights to personal political affiliations and does not discourage their involvement in political processes in their personal capacity. As part of its commitment to being a responsible corporate citizen, Valeura supports and contributes to non-profit organisations and industry associations that promote knowledge sharing within the oil and gas industry.
