EVALUATION OF PERFORMANCECOMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTIn 2024, Valeura has conducted community engagement, and social and environmental impact assessments across 100% of its operational areas and had zero reported grievances or complaints from local communities. Over the past year, Valeura actively contributed to 26 new and ongoing CSR initiatives. They comprise 779 scholarships awarded to local communities, eight community development projects, and capacity building in support of 446 teachers. These initiatives reflect the Company%u2019s strategic focus on education, environmental conservation, healthcare, safety, and disaster relief, aligning with its long-term commitment to creating shared value for the communities surrounding its operations. A key highlight of the year was the substantial level of employee engagement. Over 200 employees actively participated in CSR initiatives, contributing a combined total of 2,072 volunteering hours. These activities supported a broad range of causes, including environmental conservation projects, health and safety workshops, disaster relief efforts, and educational outreach programmes.Valeura%u2019s educational initiatives made a significant impact, awarding 779 scholarships to underprivileged students from fishing communities in Prachuap Kirikhan, Songkhla, and Rayong Provinces. The scholarship programmes, delivered in collaboration with the Prachuap Kirikhan Fishery Association, the National Fisheries Association of Thailand, and local educational authorities, supported students across 17 schools and 4 communities in Prachuap Kirikhan; 15 schools and four communities in Songkhla, along with Rayong.
