SUPPLY CHAIN SUSTAINABILITYMANAGEMENT APPROACHIMPORTANCEValeura acknowledges the importance of its contracting and procurement practices as part of the pursuit of long-term value. As a result, the Company has identified Supply Chain Sustainability as a key Material Topic and believes this is an area that warrants ongoing rigorous assessment and management attention. Valeura has established an approach to supply chain management that includes a Supplier/Contractor Assessment as part of a formal pre-qualification process, and manages its ongoing relationships by way of a defined Evaluation Process and series of Supplier Quality Management (SQM) meetings. This approach is governed by a broad reaching Contractor Code of Conduct, and is overseen by the Company%u2019s Contract and Procurement Team (including contract team, procurement team, customs and expediting team, and warehouse and base operations team). All relevant critical decisions are ultimately reviewed and approved by a Procurement Board Committee comprised of selected members of the senior management team.SUPPLY CHAIN-RELATED POLICIESValeura%u2019s contractors and suppliers are required to adhere to the Company%u2019s Contractor Code of Conduct which sets expectations for high operating standards and makes for mandatory compliance with the Company%u2019s Code of Business Conduct and Health Safety and Sustainability Policy.
