In 2024, the Company adopted a more stringent definition of HCC, resulting in an increase from the 11 reported in 2023. If the same definition were applied to 2023, the figure would have also been 61.For all HCCs, Valeura endeavours to agree and implement corrective actions with the contractor, with the aim of reducing the risk of significant impacts in the supply chain. In 2024, one such contract was terminated following discussions on suggested corrective actions. This compares to no contracts being terminated in 2023.Valeura identified no cases of contractors being in contravention of the Fighting Against Force Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act (Canada%u2019s Modern Slavery Act).
