Notably, juvenile corals cultivated using this technique have demonstrated resilience to climate change impacts,including the 2010, 2016, and 2024 coral bleaching events. The collaboration also focused on restoring degraded coral reefs through the deployment of artificial reef structures and the transplantation of resilient coral fragments, nurtured in university-managed nurseries, to enhance natural reef recovery. Over 33 Valeura employees volunteered their time and energy, participating in hands-on activities such as coral planting, and marine debris removal, contributing more than 200 collective volunteer hours. The project included educational workshops led by Chulalongkorn researchers, raising awareness among employees and local communities about the importance of marine conservation.
