ENVIRONMENTAL TRAINING Environmental Performance and Awareness Training for Offshore Employees (2023-2024)Environmental Management Knowledge-Sharing for Drilling Department (2024)Valeura launched an environmental monitoring and sustainability awareness programme for its offshore teams in 2024. The Company%u2019s goal was to spark a new wave of action toward instilling sustainable thinking across the operations group. From tracking emissions and managing waste, over 300 offshore workers participated in sessions that sharpened their skills and knowledge, while exploring all facets of how the Company%u2019s 2024 performance stacked up against 2023.Valeura hosted an in-depth knowledge-sharing session with its drilling team covering its environmental management systems and EIA. The aim was to zero in on the drilling department%u2019s environmental footprint, exploring topics covering spills, emissions, and more, specific to that group. The session has inspired subtle, but important behavioural changes covering topics such as tweaking operations practices to minimise risks, tightening waste control protocols, and generally geared toward maintaining a light footprint through drilling operations.
