WATER MANAGEMENTIn 2024, Valeura generated 90.4 million bbls of produced water, which was all safely re-injected into underground reservoirs. No produced water was discharged to the sea.Zero dischargeof produced water into the seaWASTE REDUCTIONIn 2024 Valeura implemented several waste reduction initiatives, intended to drive behavioural change amongst its workforce. In particular, the Company%u2019s 2024 Offshore Sustainability Campaign emphasised practical measures such as promoting paperless documentation, encouraging the use of reusable bottles, and eliminating single-use plastic items. The Company also installed waste segregation stations and conducted training on sustainable practices.Valeura established an organisation-wide waste reporting system in 2024 to enhance the accuracy and transparency of waste generated. While total waste generation increased by 19.4% in 2024 compared to 2023, due to the addition of new facilities as a result of the Nong Yao C development, hazardous waste decreased by 37.8%, and recycled waste increased by 92.1%.
