RESPECT FOR THE RIGHTS OF WORKERS Valeura is committed to upholding human rights across its workforce in alignment with the principles outlined in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact. These values are embedded in Valeura%u2019s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, which applies to all management, employees, and contractors. Valeura fully complies with all relevant labour legislation in Canada, Thailand, and any other countries where it operates. Concurrent with release of this sustainability report, Valeura has published its 2024 Canadian Modern Slavery Act Report, pursuant to Canada%u2019s Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act (commonly referred to as the Modern Slavery Act). This report is separately published on the Company%u2019s website.Valeura%u2019s hiring and sourcing practices include transparent and proactive procedures to prevent forced labour and child labour, strictly enforce legal minimum hiring age, and ensure non-discrimination and anti-harassment.
