These efforts are underpinned by a disciplined approach to cost optimisation through budget monitoring and control.Promoting Sustainability through Advanced TechnologyValeura leverages real-time data analytics to facilitate the use of artificial intelligence, eliminating inefficiencies across its operations and enabling better management of its emissions footprint. This real-time data comes from a network of remote sensors (IoT) that connects production machinery, as well as enables remote control of key assets. This is paving the way for the use of digital twinning, whereby it simulates the control environment for its assets through onshore systems. Through this approach, digital twining will help identify potential hazards early, allowing for proactive risk mitigation and more sustainable decision-making. Enabling Long-term Value Creation through Continuous ImprovementThe Company is committed to acquiring and integrating innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and optimise the use of resources and has found that crossorganisational collaboration generates creative and innovative solutions for the business. This cultural shift toward continuously improving collaboration is being pursued across all its functions.In 2024 Valeura implemented a Continuous Improvement (CI) programme, designed to foster a culture of innovation, adaptability, and operational excellence by leveraging technological solutions to drive efficiency and productivity. The programme supports various functions in identifying opportunities to enhance processes, productivity and strategies. Employees are actively encouraged to innovate and improve performance, with a particular focus on cost savings, productivity, revenue growth, cost avoidance, and the integration of technology into day-to-day operations. Valeura created a Project Register System, where contributors can suggest new ideas for improvement, and to facilitate department managers reviewing and approving proposals, including their associated budget and resource requirements. In addition to providing implementation support, a newly-created CI Representative Team plays a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This includes the development of a dedicated knowledge portal and the facilitation of two knowledge-sharing sessions to exchange insights and best practices on innovation and productivity enhancement.
