WATER MANAGEMENTAll of the Company%u2019s offshore production facilities have been designed to include water separation and re-injection capabilities, such that all produced water can be re-injected into reservoirs for safe disposal. Thailand%u2019s regulations do not permit the overboard discharge of produced water.Valeura has also implemented procedures to ensure the responsible treatment of wastewater. Any water that is used and subsequently contaminated through offshore operations is delivered to onshore wastewater treatment facilities for safe disposal. Wastewater that is determined to be non-contaminated undergoes internal treatment to remove impurities down to a strict threshold of no more than 15 ppm, before being discharged to the sea, in compliance with the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) standards.Where freshwater is required, Valeura relies on either purified seawater or water procured from onshore third-parties (including for human consumption). WASTE MANAGEMENTValeura%u2019s waste management system covers both offshore and onshore operations to ensure waste such as drill cuttings, muds, solids, gases, sludge, and by-products are appropriately managed at each stage of operations. All post-consumption waste is segregated into recyclable, non-hazardous, and hazardous waste, each with clearly defined handling processes that involve disposal by certified third-parties. In addition, Valeura monitors the contracted third parties through formal transportation monitoring, waste manifest and reporting, while the Company in turn reports these data to Thailand%u2019s Department of Mineral Fuels (DMF). Valeura%u2019s waste management system follows applicable local and international standards from Thailand%u2019s Department of Industrial Works (DIW), the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and MARPOL, and is ISO 14001-certified.Valeura%u2019s Offshore Energy ManagementOptimise work processesPrecise monitoring and controlEnergy conservation behaviourIntegrating technologies and innovation%uf098 Sustainability at Valeura %uf098 Environment %uf098 Social %uf098 Governance %uf098 Appendix020 2024 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
