Message from our Thailand President and Country Manager

At Valeura, we recognise that strong performance is built on people – their safety, wellbeing, capability, and trust. Across our workplaces, operating communities, and broader stakeholder networks, these foundations are essential to building a resilient and responsible business.

In 2025, health and safety remained at the centre of how we operated. We continued to strengthen a culture of safe and disciplined execution of our business across the organisation, supported by the application of our Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Community, and Quality (HSSECQ) management system, risk management processes, and visible leadership engagement. Valeura recorded zero fatalities, zero occupational illness cases, and zero lost-time injuries for both employees and contractors during the year. These results reflect the commitment of our teams, onshore and offshore, to maintaining high standards and looking after one another in often complex operating environments.

Our business resilience and operational readiness were tested during 2025. At the beginning of the year, Bangkok faced a severe earthquake and towards the end of the year there was severe flooding in southern Thailand. Our regular emergency drills and medical evacuation exercises demonstrated our teams’ readiness, coordination, and resilience with business continuity measures enabling operational support to continue without interruption.  Lessons from both drills and real events were used to further strengthen our emergency response capability.

Our commitment to being responsible also extends beyond our operations. During 2025, Valeura continued to engage closely with communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders connected to our business. Across Thailand, we delivered 28 new and ongoing CSR initiatives focused on education, environmental stewardship, community health and safety, and disaster relief. Highlights included 829 scholarships for students, marine and coastal restoration activities, fishermen’s safety training, and targeted support for communities affected by the recent flooding.

I am very proud of the role our employees played in these efforts: 282 employees contributed more than 2,061 volunteer hours through community initiatives. This level of participation reflects not only the generosity of our people, but also the culture we are continuing to build – one grounded in care, contribution, and shared responsibility.

At the same time, we continued to invest in our workforce through wellbeing programmes, learning and development, flexible support mechanisms, and initiatives that promote engagement and inclusion. We believe a capable, supported, and motivated workforce is fundamental to long-term success.

The progress made in 2025 reflects a collective effort across our business. By continuing to prioritise safety, preparedness, stakeholder relationships, and human capital, we are strengthening the foundations for Valeura’s long-term success in Thailand.
